Maria
DIRECTOR AND SPANISH TEACHER
Maria’s curiosity for learning how to teach has turned her into a passionate and dedicated teacher, as well as a versatile and motivated teacher trainer.
She joined the Languages4Life team as a teacher in 2015 and has since been devoted to teacher training and the academic management of the centre.
Her main hobby is music: dancing, singing, collecting all kinds of records, talking about music… Her favourite spot in Barcelona is the Collserola park, where nature gives the city room to breathe.
Leyre
COORDINATOR AND ENGLISH TEACHER
Our coordinator, Leyre, is from Navarra but has been living in Barcelona for a number of years. Languages have always been her passion and she studied Translation and Interpreting. She speaks five languages: Spanish, Basque, Catalan, English and Chinese. She spent a year in China to deepen her knowledge of the language and there she discovered her love for teaching both English and Spanish. She is now the coordinator of Languages4Life and also teaches classes.
Pablo Domínguez
SPANISH AND CATALAN TEACHER
Pablo is passionate about Chinese culture, history, fantasy, role-playing games and metal music. Since 2016 he has been sharing his interests with his students. After working at Languages4Life until 2018, he spent six years in Taiwan teaching Spanish in Taoyuan. In 2024 he returned to Barcelona and rejoined the team as a teacher, administrator and coordination assistant. In his classes he stands out for creating fun and creative activities, especially those involving storytelling, and he enjoys meeting people from all over the world.
Sarah Camborde
FRENCH TEACHER
French teacher with over eight years of experience in language schools, companies, secondary schools and online courses. Specialised in general and business French, she has prepared numerous students from A1 to C1 level. She stands out for her creativity, her closeness to students and her belief in each learner’s potential to progress.
Masha
ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEACHER
I am an English and Spanish teacher with over 16 years of experience working with children, teenagers and adults. My training as a Montessori guide greatly influences my teaching style and the way I support my students, creating respectful, safe and person-centred learning spaces. In addition to language teaching, I have a background in the performing arts, such as theatre and circus, which allows me to bring creativity, movement and expression into the classroom. I enjoy building genuine connections with my students and accompanying them as they grow in confidence.
